About Rae Keegan

My experiences in the realm of Spirituality have included membership in the San Souci Women's Circle (Sheep Ranch, CA); being a teacher of Wiccan Studies and leader of a Dianic Women's Circle (Olympia, WA); membership in Blue Moon Lodges: Circling Hawks (Oylmpia, WA) and Laughing Stones (Key Center, WA); Tarot Reader; Handfast/Wedding Officiant; Level Rieki Master; DreamWalker; and FireWalker. Following four years of study, I was awarded certification for the practice of Spiritual PhytoEssencing in March 2015. I am beginning my practice and continue to study with Dr. Bruce Berkowsky, the founder of SPE, towards a Diplomate. I have two businesses in the Arts & Crafts realm: Painted Pony Arts & Design, and Herb Majicks. Painted Pony was founded in 1992 as a vehicle for original works in various media of 2-D and 3-D natures: jewelry, drums, ritual tools, paintings, prints and drawings. I also contracted through this business for a while with Melissa Shirley Designs as a design assistant and production painter. Herb Majicks, now retired, launched in 1995 for my ceremonial incense and anointing oil adventures. In the personal growth arena, I started Soul Ascents in 2015 to provide Spiritual PhytoEssencing services. I have also been a homesteader, raising my own herbs, fruits, vegetables, poultry, goats and sheep. My hats here include gardener, food preservation specialist, livestock breeder, veterinarian, butcher, egg lady, cheese maker and herbwyfe. To this day, I concoct herbal oils, salves, tinctures and poultices for my and my family's well-being. I have also done a good bit of wildcrafting of herbs, fungi and other wild foods for my own sustainence. Specialties: Ritual design and production, custom 'potion' and personal essential oil blend compounding, visionary art, drum maker.
