About Raechel McClellan

As a Human Resources Specialist and Events Coordinator at Mojave Desert Land Trust, I combine my passion for people and conservation to help advance the organization's mission of protecting the desert ecosystem. With over three years of experience in operations and HR, I handle a wide range of responsibilities—from employee support and compliance to planning and coordinating meaningful events. Before joining MDLT, I served as an HR Manager and Assistant at 3 Floyds Brewing Co, where I built a strong foundation in employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration. My approach to HR is grounded in empathy, communication, and creating inclusive environments where people feel valued and supported. Outside of work, I stay connected to my creative roots through painting, photography, and music. Making art is a big part of how I recharge and express myself, and it often informs how I approach challenges and connect with others. I enjoy creating supportive, inclusive work environments and finding ways to make day-to-day operations run more smoothly. I’m always up for learning something new or jumping into a challenge.
