About Raeghan Swanson

Hi, my name is Raeghan Swanson. I am a rising Senior at Emory University pursuing a double major in Art History (with a Museum Concentration) and International Studies. I want to make the Arts, specifically Museums, more impactful and sustainable spaces for underrepresented demographics. Showcasing how Museums can be spaces for teaching and growth outside of the norms of object presentation. I also want to investigate how art can be used as a form of resistance and community sustenance within regions that experience high levels of conflict and crisis. Outside of my studies, I am also the Co-President of Emory University Planned Parenthood Generation Action, a club dedicated to informing students, faculty, staff, and the Atlanta community about safe sex practices and resources. I am also the Co-head Moderator for Emory Wonderful Wednesday, a club dedicated to uplifting the voices of Emory Registered Student Organizations and their work within and outside the Emory community.
