About Rafael Benitez
Hospitality is all I have done since I was 18 years old. When I finished high school I moved to Rhode Island to begin my studies in Hotel Management at Johnson & Wales University. A few months after I started school I landed my first job in the hospitality industry as a host at a restaurant in Providence, RI. I have not looked back since. I started in restaurants then worked in banquets, and private country clubs. In 2006 I decided it was time to move into hotels. I started off at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort as a front desk agent. 10 months later I started my first salaried assignment in the same resort. Since then I have worked at several different properties and brands, independent, family owned, corporate managed and franchised properties. Always learning more and developing my skills inn preparation of achieving my ultimate goal of being a General Manager at a full service hotel. I continue to work hard on my goals day in and day out.
