Forest engineer (Ph.D.) with over 10 years of experience in forest operations, biomass quantification, and applied research in tropical ecosystems. I have worked on carbon projects aligned with AFOLU standards, ecological restoration, and operational logistics in the Amazon, southern Brazil, and the United States. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the USDA Forest Service. I develop simulation models to support planning and decision-making for forest fuel treatments in the context of wildfire risk. Previously, I conducted large-scale forest inventories and carbon stock estimations in native forests, contributing to the development of baselines for REDD+ projects, always with a focus on methodological consistency and scientific rigor.
