Welcome! I currently work as an Outpatient Patient Financial Supervisor at Memorial Regional Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and a 797-bed hospital. My primary responsibilities include supervising on-site and off-site outpatient and inpatient departments such as Behavioral Health, Memorial Cancer Center Hospital accounts, radiology, lab, infusion, surgical, CVI, nutrition/dietitian, EEG, and PAT for scheduled surgical accounts. As an experienced Patient Access Representative, I possess in-depth insurance policy knowledge and excellent customer service skills. I am proficient in informing patients about their benefits, collecting patient payments, and registering patients in various settings such as emergency rooms, outpatient, and inpatient departments. In addition, I can work under pressure and possess exceptional analytical, interpretive, and summarizing skills. I am also proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Price Estimator, Payment Navigator, EPIC, Insurance Websites, training new hires, and Internet search engines. Additionally, I am a certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
