About Rafael Correa

I am a Software Engineer at Pumatronix, working in the Computer Vision team with a focus on Machine Learning. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electronics for Embedded Systems Engineering at Polytech Grenoble in France, and my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in Brazil. Additionally, I hold a technical degree in Electronics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). I studied in France as a BRAFITEC scholarship recipient, part of a dual-degree program, in recognition of my academic excellence. My professional journey includes internships at renowned companies such as Copel, GE Healthcare, and Furukawa, where I developed skills in electroelectronic maintenance, control systems, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence. I also completed an internship at AMETEK / Creaform in France, where I contributed to innovative projects in artificial intelligence and computer vision. As a student, I engaged in Scientific Research at the Laboratory of Magnetism, Measurements, and Instrumentation (LAMMI) and at the Group of Integrated Circuits and Systems (GICS) at UFPR. My work led to the publication of a paper at the SeMicro-PR 2021 conference. I am committed to advancing my career at the intersection of computer science, electronics, and embedded systems, always striving for excellence and innovation.
