About Rafael Hoff

I am a person that loves work within software development. I have almost 20 years of experience working with software development, planning, developing and supporting enterprise solutions for many industries. I have been working with SAP since 2010. In my current position, I work as a Cloud Architect for custom-development projects, helping project teams to solve complex technological and architectural problems related to cloud-native development. I am part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. In 2016 I decided that I would like to further continue my education path, so I entered the Web Science Master program in the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, which I finished in 2018. I developed my thesis around API Economy, considering its applications, potentials, risks and critical success factors. In the end, I got the highest grade in my master thesis. One of my greatest strengths is analytical thinking. Before making any decision, I analyze all possible situations and try to come up with the best approach. I am a proactive person, motivated by new challenges and that likes to help others to solve their problems. I am engaged to help my peers to solve their problems and try to come to a solution. That is what makes me move forward. My key motivations in life and career is to be recognized by the things that I did during my life, achieving a successful career in the software development area.
