About Rafael Pradella

A Brazilian Front-End Developer that loves coding + design. Based in Porto, Portugal. Currently working at Devexperts. I started my internship as a digital designer (this is my bachelor degree) doing artworks for social media and newsletter, and tutored by great developers, I gradually started to focus on studying HTML/CSS/JS and take more tasks fixing CSS bugs and related works. Nowadays, my work is tailored by this Design/UX background. I always start thinking about maintain a good visual consistency across the site and making a coherent the user flux when I execute a task, and assuring the other members of the team start to think about those topics, too. Besides all that, my specialties are in the web performance: building smooth and fast-loading browsing experience, and continuously capturing opportunities to improve; SEO optimizations that are very important for a company that have a good parcel of traffic coming from organic search; and in building a more accessible experience for all users. In my team, I always reinforce those points on Code Reviews, ask about that on job interviews and when I write internal documentation to onboard newcomers on the projects.
