Hi, I'm Rafaela, a UX designer at Nokia with a background in Statistics, Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, and Fashion Design. As a UX Designer at Nokia, I am responsible for designing and developing intuitive and visually appealing desktop and mobile applications that met the needs of our customers. I work closely with the product team to create prototypes and user interface designs that help us deliver high-quality software solutions. As the founder of a breastfeeding bras brand, I have successfully launched and managed a business that provides high-quality, comfortable, and stylish bras for nursing mothers. I have extensive experience in all aspects of the business, including product design and development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. Throughout my work, I have demonstrated my ability to understand the needs and preferences of nursing mothers and to translate those insights into practical and appealing design solutions. I have developed strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors, and have successfully managed inventory, production timelines, and sales targets. With 10 years of experience in the fashion industry and entrepreneurship, I made a career transition to explore new opportunities. I relocated to Portugal to pursue a Master's in Statistics and began studying UX/UI, leveraging my background in Consumer Behavior and design. I obtained a certification in UX/UI design and continue to enhance my skills through ongoing learning with each new project. Currently, my primary focus lies in designing, strategizing, and executing user-centered projects that have a meaningful impact on people's lives. I am particularly passionate about inclusive and sustainable design and strive to incorporate these principles into my work.
