About Rafika Yahya

During my seven-year career in online media, working as a writer and working cross-functionally has allowed me to develop my brand's content strategy and creative ideas, and sharpen my skills to grow my business. Previously at Zetizen Jawa Pos (also known as DETeksi Jawa Pos), I focused on revamping the youth media to engage the young with the newest issues. I want to create a platform where young people can participate. As a result, Zetizen Jawa Pos is still remembered as the only youth column in Indonesia. Since moving to JawaPos.com, giving news that can engage with people drives me to do more research before jumping into the field. As a result, JawaPos.com rise to 5th in the media news by the time I joined the team. During my work at Jawa Pos, I wrote over news and created 150+ pages of newspapers and 200+ web articles to increase the monthly site visitors by 1-5 million. I am now confident in my creative writing skills and understanding of the world of media business and marketing.
