I am a Programme Lead with the Clean Air team at Council on Energy Environment and Water (CEEW). I primarily work on generating insights from forecasting models, geospatial data and low-cost sensor data. I was also a part-time mentor for the Advanced Program in Computational Data Science offered by NSE TalentSprint and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru between June 2021 and May 2022. Previously, I was a PhD candidate working on problems related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer within the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) at the Engineering Mechanics Unit of JNCASR. My work involved optimizing numerical weather prediction models and developing algorithms for satellite detection of fog and low clouds. I also worked on developing a narrow-band radiative heat transfer model to study the impact of aerosols on near-surface air temperature during the early years of my PhD.
