PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE • Monitored Fabrication / piping / Installation / Inspection of the following: Piping, pressure vessels, tanks, valves, welding, painting/coating, structural inspections. Specialized in Pre-fabrication activities of piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, material inspections including valves, pipe supports, Special pipe supports, Material Traceability, Dimensional checking, involved in Heat treatment, Non-destructive activities, Line checks prior to Hydro testing, Mechanical completion check activities etc. • Inspection of Oil & Gas field and petrochemical plant static & rotary equipment’s and associated piping in on-stream, maintenance, shutdown inspection. • Inspection of all types of petrochemical plant static equipment’s (columns, drums, heat exchangers, furnaces, boilers, flares, tanks and piping) and to compiles written reports on its findings and recommendations puts in repair recommendations to user departments. • Experienced in various welding processes like SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, TIG, SAW various types of joining materials like Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Low and Alloy Steels. • Ensure that all welder and welding activities are correctly specified and carried out in accordance with the relevant international codes, client specifications and applicable company welding procedures. • Inspection of all welder qualifications, raw materials and mill test certificates. • Receiving material and consumable inspection of material verification PMI, ferrite test & hardness test and ensure material traceability. • Preparation and conducting of procedure qualification tests & welder qualification test as per WPS. • Coordinate and review all testing: non destructive testing (PT, X-ray, Auto UT and MPI) stress, pneumatic, service and hydrostatic testing as and when required and record accurately all inspection data. • Inspection of Raw materials (Plates, Pipes, Beams, Flanges, welding consumable & Coating • Material/Consumable, etc.) And review the Material Test Certificates (MTC’s) as per applicable material code and client specification. • Witnessing of Destructive Tests like Tensile test, Charpy V-notch Test, Bend test, Hardness Test etc, and reviewing of all test reports according to the applicable standard and project specification. • Performing the Stage wise Inspection of fabrication materials as per Procedure, ITP and approved drawing etc. • Witnessing the Preparation and Hydrostatic Pressure Testing of Pressure Vessel, Storage Tanks, Piping Systems and all types of Valves( manual /actuated ON/OFF Valves)
