About Raheel Rizvi

I am a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) with extensive senior management experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management including Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), Corporate Governance, and Compliance including compliance of AML & CFT related guidelines. Currently, I am leading Internal Audit and Risk Management – ICFR functions of Watania Takaful Family as well as monitoring compliance of regulatory guidelines, including AML & CFT related guidelines and Corporate Governance implementation. I effectively coordinated with the CBUAE Audit Team for regulatory audits encompassing operations, AML & CFT, and Corporate Governance as well as coordinating with the CBUAE Team in respect of the implementation of agreed action plans. Prior to joining Watania Takaful, I worked as Head of Internal Audit in EFU Life Assurance Limited (two years), Senior Manager in Adamjee Insurance Company Limited (four years) and supervisory senior in KPMG (four years).
