About Rahil Dabgotra

Since my childhood, I was so analytical and passionate about how things/stuff works like; machines, logistics system, bridges, highways, connectivity, electronics and almost everything and thus, helped me to mature my critical thinking skills. At the same time, I also believe that it helped me potentially lead to a career that is diverse. After my bachelors, I started working as a maintenance executive and at work, meeting people from different countries and profession that sparked my interest towards moving to a different country and to continue my studies. Moving to a new country which is almost the opposite side of Globe requires a lot of courage, hence leads to develop "adaptation and versatility” in me, Coming to Canada from India is one of my best decisions I made, It was more of a exposure (in a good way) then a cultural shock. To enhance my skills, I decide on Supply Chain Management and Business Administration as continuing education to support my Engineering and also to get the upper hand if i am compared with my colleagues. Supply chain management includes, planning, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward, and reverse flow and storage of goods, building customer relations, dispatching, shipping, receiving, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customer's requirements. Moreover, Supply Chain management is a necessity for an engineer for its own development in every aspect. On contrary, Studying in Canada definitely helped and expose me to Canadian cultures and ethics, as well as improved my working ability to maximum. I have learned and developed many skills, I think i have evolved myself and believe I am a company guy with combination of Supply Chain Management, Business skills and AP engineering
