With over 36 years of diverse and progressive experience in the hydrocarbon and automotive sectors.Am a certified Independent Director registered with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs(IICA) and with Independent Directors Data Bank (IDDB) of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.Have served as General Manager-Carbon Management and Sustainability Group (CM & SG) at ONGC-India's largest oil and gas producer. CM & SG is responsible for developing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance energy efficiency, and promote environmental and social responsibility across the organisation. CM & SG is also responsible for creating framework for ESG reporting and has developed “Decarbonisation Roadmap” for ONGC to become Net Zero by 2038 wrt Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.During 2013-17, I have also served as a Whole-time Functional Director on the Board of Directors of a Listed CPSE under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. The company witnessed both financial and operational turnaround and came out of the purview of BIFR.Successfully completed the “HP Future Impact Leader- an IICA Certified ESG Professional” six month certification programme offered by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), an autonomous think tank, under the aegis of Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA). Following this achievement, I have been inducted as a member of the National Association of Impact Leaders (NAIL).Am a Life/OMEGA member of Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPE), USA. As a distinguished member of SPE, have served in various leadership roles at the section, regional, and international levels and have received multiple awards from SPE for voluntary service and contribution to the industry. Founder Section Organising Officer of SPE New Delhi Section and as its Chairperson 2020-2025.Currently serving as (Past) Section Chairman on the Board of Society of Petroleum Engineers, New Delhi Section and as a member of SPE Asia-Pacific Regional Technical Advisory Committee.Am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) of Project Management Institute (PMI), USA and a Life member of All India Management Association (AIMA).Am a BE-(Mechanical Engineering) from National Institute of Technology, NIT Jaipur and have a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon.
