Experienced in embedded system design and development, currently heading the R&D group in India. My present role is to manage a team of highly capable hardware and software engineers working on design and development of global products for industrial process automation. I am part of the top management team reporting directly to the managing director of the company. I work and collaborate with our global product development team in USA & Germany on design requirements for new global products. Extensively worked on firmware development on various microcontrollers with small memory footprints and limited resources. I have worked on Real Time Operating System (RTOS) both commercial and custom in-house RTOS. I have experience in working with UNIX internals and systems programming. Responsible for the project management of new products, conceptualise new products for industrial process automation and help team to optimize the code for efficiency and reliability. Responsible for managing external partners to whom we have outsourced some of our projects. This involves making sure that the deliveries are met as per our requirement and close interaction with the partners senior management team.
