With over 19 years of experience in marketing and sales, I am a seasoned marketer who has successfully planned and executed strategic campaigns for various media and product brands. I have a proven track record of increasing business share (revenue and space/time), brand awareness, customer loyalty, and revenue growth (P&L role) through innovative and data-driven solutions. As a media marketing specialist at HT Media Ltd, I managed the marketing operations for multiple print and digital publications, creating engaging and relevant content for diverse audiences, managed existing partners and converted business prospects in to customers. I also partnered with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the distribution and monetization of the media assets. At Dainik Jagran (A leading language publication from Jagran Prakashan Ltd.), I led a new business (an all English hyperlocal weekly publication) for the group. Headed the product planning and development team, overseeing the launch and expansion of new products and markets. I also supervised the sales and marketing teams, ensuring the achievement of the business objectives and targets. P&L Management was an integral role in all-of-the-above mentioned duties/responsibilities. I have my fair stint with entrepreneurial ventures that include owning a specialty restaurant, holding a trustee's position as a social entrepreneur, practicing as a licensed insurance advisor (freelance- Health and Life) and as an advisor/consultant for a start-up in print/digital media domain.
