About Rahul Cheeran

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have strived for excellence in everything I do. I always seek opportunities for personal improvement through new experiences. In 2010, I graduated from VIT University in India with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. After I graduated, I took a year off in order to reassess my goals. During that time I worked at a clothing store called Tape à L'Oeil in Dubai as a Customer Sales Advisor. After coming to Canada in 2011, I worked at Woodbine Entertainment Group, while studying for the GMAT and completing online courses in business, like Foundations of Business Strategy. I then worked from April 2012 to July 2013 at Antech Diagnostics as a laboratory technician. Shortly after that I was accepted into the co-op program at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Managing my academic workload while simultaneously seeking co-op placements was no easy task, but I relished the opportunity to rise to the challenge. My exceptional performance during my 3 co-ops was rivaled only by my performance in the classroom. I anticipate greater experiences in my future and I welcome the opportunity to meet them head on.
