As a FSQA Food Technologist I work on quality assurance of food and packaging and work on new product development to make sure hundreds of people enjoy their HelloFresh meals-My interest in Science right from my childhood drove me to pursue my postgraduate in Food science after completing my undergraduate in Biotechnology-Amazed by how an intrinsic organism can be manipulated for the good as well as the bad cause for humankind, I stepped into the field of Food Science to understand the different driving forces that are considered and evaluated for food production & consumption-My interest in cutting-edge technologies like modern farming practices, alternative proteins, zero-carbon production, packaging for zero-wastage, circular economy and sustainable food production, etc, helped to develop a clear idea of how to achieve "Sustainability". I got the opportunity to understand the transition of food trends and the drivers of the transition. The knowledge garnered all these years facilitate me to extensively incorporate the concepts into my day-to-day life to support and strive to achieve the SDG goals-Adaptability and strategical planning and execution are my forte with having good experience in communication and organization-With the aim to achieve "More with Less", I focus on committing myself to promote "Sustainable food production and practices" & updating myself with the new innovations to keep moving towards the zero-waste and zero hunger goals as a whole community.
