Myself Dr Rahul Somalwar, had completed B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering, RTNMU, Nagpur, M.E and PhD degree in Power Electronics and Renewable energy from the RGPV Bhopal M.P. and RTMNU Nagpur M.S, in 2009 and 2020 respectively. I have total 19 years experienced of teaching and industry. currently I am working as an Assistant Professor in Bajaj Institute of Technology. Previously I had worked as a Head of Department in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Datta Meghe Institute of Engineering Technology and Research, Wardha, M.S. India where,teaches in UG course and PG course and directs research projects in the area of Power Electronics and Renewable energy. Till now under my guidance 6 PG students completed their M.Tech projects and one of the paper of M.Tech student published in SCI journal in 2020. Also done Energy audit at project sites along with students.Received funding for My project under minor in house project scheme of MGI. My broad area of research focuses on Renewable energy in which Solar Power system, Micro grid, Islanding, etc. I have published 23 research publications in various international Journals/conference proceedings including the main power system engineering journals like Electrical Power components and system ( Taylor and Francis), IETE journal of research ( Taylor and Francis) and IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee Conferences. I have reviewed a more than 10+ research publications and am a very active reviewer for International Journal of Electric Power Components and Systems, IET Power Generation and Transmission, Asses etc Details available in the link. Also active in Professional societies, viz, IE(I), and IETE as a Life member. In my professional life Received best faculty award on 11 Nov 2016 at YCCE. I have very good academic excellence and healthy relations with many academicians in the area of his expertise, “Renewable energy”. Thereby, I have delivered invited lectures in private colleges. I am good team leader, sincere, hardworking person and always keen to take new responsibility.
