Mr. Khamis has accumulated 21 years of diversified experience in geotechnical engineering, management and consulting where he has been engaged on hundreds of projects including Design-Build Infrastructure projects encompassing transportation projects( foundation and pavement investigation), roads and bridges, culverts and retaining walls, industrial buildings, storage and pipeline facilities, sewer and watermain replacements, subdivisions, tunnel projects and building stations for the tunnel system, Geotechnical Instrumentation and monitoring projects, managing multi millions geotechnical instrumentation installation and collecting monitoring data, supervise and execute pile foundation testing including pile driving analyzer (using PDA\CAPWAP) & Static Load Testing, managing geotechnical instrumentation and Monitoring projects (GIMP) including installation of variety of geotechnical instrumentations, Quality Verification Engineer (QVE) for wide variety of Civil Engineering projects including : Subgrade Inspection & Proof Roll for Roads Foundations,Caisson and Tieback Installation, QVE Stressing for Shoring System, Plate Load Testing for Foundation (PLT), Pile Driving Analyzer (PDI). etc. Mr. Khamis has BSc. Civil Engineering Science in 1988 and MSc. Geotechnical Engineering in 1993. is a registered Professional Engineer in Canada (P.Eng) since 2005, Registered APEGA (P.Eng.) since 2013, and registered Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2011 and Accredited Professional LEED in Building Design and Construction since 2012. Profession in Slope\W & Slide 7, Gint for drafting borehole logs, Pile Driving Analyzer PDA software, iCAP, & CAPWAP. Mr. Khamis serve as Senior Geotechnical Engineer and lead Geotechnical and Foundation designer for multi- millions design build projects and QC/QA. The roll and responsibility involve the following but not limited to : planning, organizing, and project management for geotechnical, pavement and environmental site investigation and oversee the execution of geotechnical site investigations and analysis, provide geotechnical engineering recommendations regarding soil and rock engineering parameters, deep and shallow foundations, bearing capacity, seismic analysis, frost issues, and site development, excavation and backfilling recommendation, dewatering, settle issues and mitigation. The projects include: municipal infrastructure, transportation, commercial and industrial, underground structures and utilities.
