El Sr. Valdés es Partner & Country Head de Compass Group Chile. Previo a su incorporación a la firma el Sr. Valdés fue, durante 5 años, Vice Presidente Senior de Institutional LatAm Equity Sales en Itaú BBA Securities, basado en Nueva York. Anteriormente el Sr. Valdés fue Director Ejecutivo en LarrainVial Corredores de Bolsa y Jefe de Distribución de Fondos en Celfin Capital Asset Management, donde lideró la distribución de fondos a clientes institucionales de Chile y Perú. Previamente fue Analista de Estudios en Santander Investment Securities, y posteriormente fue Head of Equity Research and Strategist (Jefe de Investigación y Estrategias de Renta Variable) de la oficina de Chile donde trabajó durante 7 años, para luego formar parte del equipo de Institutional LatAm Equity Sales de Santander en Nueva York por 5 años. El Sr. Valdés es Ingeniero Comercial de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile- Mr. Valdés is Country Head of Compass Group Chile. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Valdés was Senior Vice President of Institutional LatAm Equity Sales in Itau BBA Securities for 5 years, in New York. Previously, Mr. Valdés was Executive Director at LarrainVial Corredores de Bolsa and Head of Fund Distribution at Celfin Capital Asset Management, where he led the funds distribution to institutional clients of Chile y Perú. Mr. Valdés was also an investment analyst at Santander Investment Securities and later was the Head of Equity Research and Strategist of Santander Chile´s Office, where he worked for 7 years, to finally join the team of Institutional LatAm Equity Sales in Santander for 5 years, in New York. Mr. Valdés holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
