Passionate Social Work Graduate & Compliance Consultant Greetings! I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work, driven by my deep-seated desire to connect with diverse individuals and positively impact their lives. My journey into social work was inspired by a fulfilling experience in sales, where I discovered the joy of empathetically engaging with people from various backgrounds. In my role as a Compliance Consultant at GoSHarps, I contribute my skills in sales to educate medical businesses about crucial federal and state regulations, such as OSHA & HIPAA. I take pride in bringing new customers on board by actively seeking door-to-door opportunities, fostering relationships, and consistently following up enthusiastically. My academic journey began at Texas A&M Galveston, where I graduated in 2021 with a double degree in Marine Biology, Marine Fisheries and a minor in SCUBA. During my time at university, I engaged in volunteer work in toxicology, genetics, and animal husbandry labs. I was an active member of Tri-Beta National Honor Society, Check-in Crew, and the Sea Living Learning Community. Additionally, I gained valuable experience through an internship with Texas Parks and Wildlife Coastal Fisheries division. Post-graduation, my career path led me to the pharmaceutical industry, where I honed skills in aseptic techniques and delved deeper into pharmaceutical research. Realizing my innate love for communication and problem-solving, I transitioned to a role in sales, which proved to be a perfect fit. My professional philosophy centers around creating lasting connections. This focus has been integral to my success in both academic and professional realms, and I am committed to further developing my social skills to foster meaningful relationships.
