About Rainer Friedling

In November 2022, Rainer's responsibilities and competencies were significantly expanded. He will continue to be responsible for Account Services within HPE Technology Services. Instead of the DACH geography (GY, AT, CH), he now manages the new sub-region named "Central & North Western Europe" with over employees in more than 20 countries with direct business and many other countries that are supported by a partner presence. His team provide Operational, Advisory/Transformation and Professional services to the customers in the sub-region. In addition also employees and contractors from different other organizations and subcontractors are contributing to the success of his organization. His organization is a key enabler for successful business growth, based on excellent operational performance and best in class customer satisfaction results. Rainer started at Hewlett-Packard in 1996 as an Account Manager in Services Sales and has held several different positions in the Delivery and Support organization since then. Most recently from Oct 2017–Oct 2018 Rainer was the Director of the Global Shared Delivery DACH & Russia. The mission of his organization was to provide the best in class technology services to German, Austrian, Swiss and Russian HPE customers. Earlier from Sept 2016–Sept 2017 Rainer was the Director of Global Support Delivery Germany organization within HPE’s Pointnext Support business unit. Prior to this, Rainer was leading the Global Account Sales & Business team for overall 6 years. He was responsible for the support business with international and national global accounts, preparation, implementing and execution of business plans for this segment as well as short, medium- and long-term planning at account level to enable profitable business growth and to achieve Profit/Loss- and Growth-targets in three-digit million range. Previously, he led the Mission Critical Business Germany for 4 years. From till 2007 he managed the Mission Critical Services/ Delivery (District East Germany). Rainer was born in Leipzig, Germany and currently resides there with his wife and two daughters. He has a degree in Business Information Technology from Leipzig Graduate School of Management/University of Leipzig.
