About Raintree Brown

Rain Brown started her career with Verizon Wireless in 2001 in Operations working in Resource Management (RM) also known as IMT and then WFPA. Over the years she has become the subject matter expert on many processes within the department. She has worked virtually. Implemented many processes and was tasked as the Project Manager for the team, working side-by-side with CCTO (Call Center Technology Organization) and the Internet Protocol based Automated Call Distributor (IPACD) team on many occasions. Other roles included End User Support - MTS I (Rotational Enrichment Program) and Emergency Work Assignment (EWA): FiOS/Cooper Installation and Maintenance, that provided her with the ability to work close with IT. Rain worked independently the Off-Core shift with very little supervision making managerial decisions for the best interest of the business. Routinely being called upon to assist with real time systems maintenance and updates. reporting any issues that may arise. Rain implemented procedures with detailed feedback and documentation advising everyone apprised of needed processes to assist with future system issues. She is currently a member of the ​Intake - Omni Channel Analytics (OCA) frontdoor team under OO & OP (​OMNI Planning & Operations Orchestration). Her processes include Project Management, Agile Methodology, and Jira Project Administrator. She is the Scrum Master for various reporting teams and is a certified VLSS Green Belt. While maintaining her responsibilities within OO & OP, she accepted an temporary assignment within VZGig to assist the EX2CX team with updating tracking list, project management and updating executive documentation in Smartsheets. Raintree P. Brown graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems and Technology. Treasurer of Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda. Successfully installing and making the Columbia, SC campus the first campus to be awarded a Charter for PBL in all of the Strayer campuses. Brown is compassionate about giving back to the community assisting families in need or mentoring a child who just needs to feel loved, is what brings joy into her life. Her dedication to her position is above and beyond reproach. She believes in teamwork, family, and is dependable. She always goes above and beyond to get the job done and is always seeking to learn new skills and improving on her current skill sets.
