About Raisa Tjarinto

I am a sustainability professional with a strong foundation in environmental technology who bridges research, policy, and finance to drive meaningful impact. I began my career developing nature-based solutions through environmental remediation research in the UK using engineered biochar, supported by international academic and industry collaborations. Over the years, I have worked across consulting, venture capital, and banking - advising corporates, investors, and government on ESG risks and safeguards, sustainable infrastructure, and innovative finance. I have shaped both the alignment of investment strategies with sustainable finance frameworks and the design of tools that enable green and inclusive transitions. Earlier in my journey, I was also involved in teaching and community outreach - helping make sustainability more accessible through education and capacity-building programs, particularly for underrepresented groups. Today, I focus on advancing inclusive, data-driven solutions for sustainable finance, climate resilience, and gender equity across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. I thrive at the intersection of science, strategy, and systems change - and I am passionate about using finance as a force for good.
