Although my path to librarianship has not been linear, my varied experiences, which span across academia, work, and personal, have led me to a strong interest in public librarianship, digital literacy, and community collaborative efforts in shaping resource development. Serving the community is at the heart of what I want to do; I have a special interest in improving library services for marginalized populations, including people of color, LGBTQ+ folks, disabled individuals, and low/no-income populations. I strongly believe in the motto that libraries are for everyone. When not geeking out about libraries, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones (and their dogs), traveling (when safe), reading any book I can get my hands on, and trying new flavors of ice cream.
