About Raj Dhanda

I serve as Ares' Global Head of Wealth Management. I also serve on the Ares Real Estate Group's Combined Industrial Advisors Committee (CIAC) Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, I was the Chief Executive Officer at Black Creek Group, which I joined in 2016 as President before being named Chief Executive Officer in April 2018. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Black Creek Diversified Property Fund Inc. and as Co-President of both Black Creek Diversified Property Fund Inc. and Black Creek Industrial REIT IV Inc. While at Black Creek, I led the evolution to a one firm brand as Black Creek Group, and oversaw significant capital raise, acquisitions and developments. Previously, I spent 26 years at Morgan Stanley, where I held a variety of leadership roles, including leading key divisions of their institutional and wealth management platforms, Head of Investment Products and Services for their wealth management division, and serving on the Executive and Operating Committees for their wealth management division. Throughout my career at Morgan Stanley, I helped develop strategies for changing regulations and technology to advance the company's wealth management channels. I also serve on the Brown University Real Estate Group Advisory Board and hold a B.A. from Brown University in Economics and Organizational Behavior & Management.
