About Raj Shet

As a Design & Drafting Technician, I design and draft cable TV and fiber optic communications networks for various types of projects, such as new build, plant forced relocates, rebuild, FTTH and fiber extensions. I use AutoCAD, SpatialNET, TBC, QuickPole and other software tools to produce accurate and detailed maps and drawings for construction purposes. I also update and maintain system databases and maps, including base map, cable, fiber routes, addresses, and RF design. I have a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from University of Ottawa, where I focused on sustainable water resources development and management. I am also a LEED Green Associate, certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, with badges in renewable energy and water efficiency. I have published two papers in international journals on hydraulic jump and dissolved oxygen content in open channels. I have a passion for applying my engineering skills and knowledge to create innovative and environmentally friendly solutions for the telecommunications industry.
