I was responsible for doing ECG, TREADMILL & HOLTER tests, and all CATH LAB procedures. All aspects of patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Cardiac Rehabilitation. • The cardiac physiologist is responsible for operating angiographic equipment such as angiographic computers, rotational arms and power-injecting equipment • Hemodynamic pressure recording. • Prepares the examination rooms for diagnostic and interventional procedures. • Prepare patient for examination and explains testing procedures • Review the patient medical history present on the examination requests and consults the physician as necessary. • Maintains daily log of procedures performed. • Maintains the inventory of supplies to be ordered and submits order requests to supervision (Stents, Catheters, Devices and Balloons). • The Cardiac physiologist is responsible for assisting the physicians following procedures: BOTH CARDIO AND VASCULAR PROCEDURES
