As Head of M&A department at Up Coop, I'm in charge of M&A transactions in France and abroad. I manage 3 people: 2 Senior Finance Analyst and 1 senior inhouse legal counsel The department is dealing with all financial and legal aspects of the M&A transactions, and it also addresses business and operational issues. My role is to coordinate the whole M&A process starting from the NDA until the closing of the deal and to involve the right people (external and internal) to structure the transaction and to carry out Due Diligence, analysis and to negotiate balanced terms among parties. I have the chance to deal directly with top management and the executive committee' members of the group Up, to provide them with keys to make their decisions. I'm also in charge of presenting and supporting the M&A projects before the Board of Directors and the Work Council of the mother company of the Group Up.
