Believer in “Waste for one, wealth for another.” I am a PhD researcher at University College Cork and Teagasc Walsh Scholar, working on grass biorefinery development to boost circularity and alternative uses for crops in Ireland. With a background in Environmental Technology from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, I specialise in resource and energy recovery from waste. My interdisciplinary background spans biotechnology, waste management, renewable energy, economic modelling, business development, and more. I am skilled in conducting high-impact research, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement. With academic and professional experience from across Europe and India, I bring an international and cross-cultural perspective to addressing sustainability challenges. I am passionate about advancing circular economy solutions to combat climate change, and eager to expand my knowledge through cross-sector collaboration. Naturally curious, calm under pressure, and recently, aspiring towards a minimalist lifestyle.
