Rajeev has advised several Indian and multinational corporations on Indian indirect taxes, including VAT/ Sales tax, Service tax, Customs duty, Excise duty and matters relating to foreign trade policy. He has extensive experience in advising many multinational companies in setting up as well as restructuring operations in India and GST impact assessment Key engagements undertaken He has extensive experience in handling indirect taxes issues pertaining to diverse range of industries including IT-ITes, FMCG, Banking and Finance, Health care, Media and Entertainment etc. He has managed GST impact assessment of one of largest handset manufacturers as well as automobile manufacturer. He has also assisted clients from others sectors such as IT-ITes, Media and Entertainment, etc. on GST impact assessment. He plays an active role in formulation of the GST policy and is actively involved in preparation of representations to Ministry of Finance on various contentious issues under present Indirect tax regime as well as on issues under proposed GST regime. He is assisting on GST impact assessment including processes, supply chain and IT areas.
