Lead a team of more than 35 professionals in East Asia and the Pacific in executing reviews of public financial management and corporate financial reporting, developing policy recommendations to improve performance of public investments and expenditure, and supporting efforts to build institutional capacity and improve performance. A fundamental role of the World Bank is to help client governments improve their management of public finance. My work addresses issues of dysfunctional public institutions which hinder growth, set perverse rules of the game which negatively affect the investment climate, limit accountability, and are incapable of sustaining development and public investment.
