About Rajendra Chandeliya

I hail from a tiny town, where opportunities were limited, but my determination to excel knew no bounds. It was an honor to be selected among 60 students from the district to be studied at Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya upto class 12. After completing my class 12 in commerce, I decided to pursue my passion for finance. I earned my BBA and MBA degrees, specializing in Finance. During my MBA, I realized the immense potential of the stock market and sought to deepen my knowledge in this domain. I earned five certifications from the National Stock Exchange in capital markets, derivatives, mutual funds, commodities, and securities. In 2008, I kick-started my professional career as an Executive Trainee with SBILife Insurance Co Ltd in Indore. Over the past 15 years, I've had the opportunity to work in various departments, such as New Business, Policy Servicing, Underwriting, and Business Analysis in collaboration with IT teams at different locations. This diverse experience has been instrumental in shaping my understanding of the insurance industry and its complexities. Throughout my journey, I have been an advocate for continuous learning and personal growth. I am proud to hold fellowships from both the Insurance Institute of India and the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), USA. Currently, I am pursuing a Business Analyst certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis to enhance my skills further. As an Associate Vice President, I am currently heading the Claims Department of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh at SBILife. In this role, I am responsible for ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service to our customers during their times of need. One of my key strengths lies in embracing new challenges and adapting to ever-evolving technologies and methodologies. I am currently delving into software development life cycle, testing, requirements gathering, analysis, design, and execution using both agile and waterfall methodologies. I strongly believe that success is a collective effort, and I am grateful for the supportive teams and mentors who have been integral to my growth.
