About Rajesh Dhillon

After spending 21 years as a naval officer, I am blessed to be in the second wave of my passion, human interaction. Balancing Teaching at the Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore University of Social Science, with KM and SharePoint optimisation with Acies Innovations Being a huge people person, I see much potential in linking up the elements of Knowledge management and Agile with organisational development internally and externally. My experience in the navy allowed me to understand leadership from both angles, on the receiving end and on the giving end. An advocate of servant leadership, I am fully convinced that the role of the leader is to serve and make the journey of the team better than it was yesterday. Having been fortunate to represent Singapore twice as a Senior Naval Representative (Singapore) with the US NAVY’s COMFIFTHFLEET C2CC, Bahrain and once as NGO Liaison Officer for the Tsunami incident in enabled me to understand the intricacies of cross-culture and the stress each has to their own organisation. This experience has prepared me well for my transaction to being a civilian. Now, outside the uniform, I have been fortunate to hold leadership and teaching roles in my civilian life. Specialities: Project management. Planning in Humanitarian and disaster relief. Events planning, Counselling, Contingency Operations, Risk Management, Knowledge Management, Leadership Development and Organisational Learning, Teaching, Regional Operations, Business Strategy and expansion.
