Possess successful experience in project leadership, implementation, monitoring, liaising with government, establishing alliances, and managing partnerships • Rich experience of working on multi-stakeholder projects and working closely with state government departments {Women & Child Development (ICDS), Health, Education, and Forests} in different states (UP, MP, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Bihar) • As State Representative, led large-scale state-level projects in various states • Possess rich experience in 360-degree behavior change communication, community mobilization, capacity building, designing and executing digital interventions, business development, establishing project monitoring systems, liaising with state governments, and humanitarian response action. Major Projects Undertaken 1. Led the design process of several projects in the World Food Program (WFP) between 2004-2008 on food security, nutrition, and livelihood in the central Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand leading to the enhanced adaptive capacity of rural small and marginal farmers. Designed and executed a project for adolescent girls for promoting healthy behaviours around nutrition, reproductive and sexual health & life skill improvement among adolescent girls of Uttarakhand. Advised the state government of Uttarakhand to scale up the key elements of the project. In view of the success of the state-level project, the government of India scaled up the same at the national level with the name “SABLA”. Led the development of a multi-million dollar project on shaping behaviours around maternal, newborn, and child health in Odisha and coordinated the project between 2012-2015.(mobile-based job aid called “Mobile Kunji” for FLWs in Odisha). Led an innovative BCC project with the state government funds on ‘Early Childhood Development” Days Window) wherein nutrition-related messages to shape healthy behaviour around new-born and child health care were given on mothers’ mobile phones through IVRS. Coordinated the development of online digital training on injectable contraceptives for govt. doctors for the Ministry of Health. Led the development of an innovative fingermillet-based supplementary nutritive food (in 2005) for ICDS which the state government of Uttarakhand adopted, scaled up for the entire state, and is being sustained till now. Conceptualized and developed a mobile app for private sector doctors on reproductive health and family planning and led the content development process for the app.
