About Rajith Ranasinghe

I considered myself a multi Skilled professional with almost two decades of varied experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Cost Account Management, Business Management, Human Resources Management, Leadership Management, and Customer Relationships Management, having worked with reputed Local & multinational conglomerates in Sri Lanka. I was a recipient of the "Master Bronze Award", given in recognition of my exceptional contribution to the customer services in DHL (First choice – DHL), and the “Academic Excellence Award” being batch top in the year 2009/2010 for Professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management (English) Examination at Cinec campus. I started my professional carrier as a store supervisor and have climbed up to cooperate ladder in the logistics and Supply chain management field. During my carrier, I have held the Executive, Team Leader, Assistant Manager, and Manager positions in a reputed organization in Sri Lanka. And also, I was a visiting lecturer at the Colombo Institute of Logistics Management (CILM) as part of my professional achievement. I hold a Master’s Degree (Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration - 2019), Management Degree (Bachelor of Management Studies - 2015), Accounting Degree (Certified Management Accounting – Australia - 2020), Diploma in Management (2013), Professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management (2010) and Stores Management (2004). Having the ability to positively influence people and add value to their capabilities with excellent customer engagement and delight customer requirements while achieving financial & non-financial objectives of an organization are the key competencies that I gain from my academic and professional carrier and I am a “Chartered Member” of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transportation (CILT) – UK, “Cooperate Member” of Institute of Supply & Materials Management (ISMM)-SL, Member of Certified Management Accountant (CMA)- Australia & New-Zealand and Affiliate Studying Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) – UK My goal is to transform my knowledge and experience for the betterment of the organization by being in the top management as a General Manager or Chief Operating Officer in a reputed organization in the world.
