I am a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, India, having 19+ years of work experience in UAE. I have worked in various industries in my career span of 19+ years (Audit Firms, Trading Company, Construction Industry and commodity trading FZE). I have a treasure cove of experience in various fields of different industries. Through my experience, I have gained excellent insights into the world of Finance and strengthened my Analytical and quantitative skills. I have the ability to learn quickly and apply that learning proactively, so as to excel in a fast paced environment. WORK EXPERIENCE October 2016 –till date working with Afri Ventures as Regional Financial Controller reporting to Group CFO and Group Managing Director /CEO. I look after overall supervision of a team of 9 accounts, Logistics and Administrative staff, Treasury Management, Risk Management and Mitigation, Strategy Planning and Execution, Working Capital Management, Accounting and Financial Reporting October 2015 –September 2016 worked with EIHL as Chief Financial Controller reporting to Group CFO and CEO. I look after overall supervision of 7 FC’s at various location and accounting, Logistics and Administrative department staff, Treasury Management and other Administration and PR areas. January 2010 –Oct 2015 working with Afri Ventures as Financial Controller reporting to Group CFO and Group Managing Director /CEO. I look after overall supervision of a team of 7accounts, Logistics and Administrative department staff, Treasury Management, Sap Implementation and other Administration and PR areas. October 2005- January 2010 worked with Dodsal Pte Ltd.(Construction Company) as a Budgeting & Finance Manager, reporting to Vice President- Finance. I shouldered the responsibility of overall supervision of a team of 15 accounts and department staff. April 2003 – October 2005 worked with Danube Building materials Fzco, Jebel Ali (Trading Company) in the position of Accounts and Treasury Manager. I started my career working for an Audit firm in India, Khandelwal Jain & Co. Chartered Accountants, from April 2002 to March 2003.
