Background
About Rakayla Simpson
My name is Rakayla Simpson and I am a recent graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelors of Science in Health Science. I have found a career that I would like to pursue after college, which is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I chose Health Science as my field of study, simply because it will help me achieve my goals to becoming a Physiatrist and overall be successful in the field of Rehabilitative medicine. Within this field I have found that there is a diversity of areas that spark my interest while also challenging me to learn, such as musculoskeletal physiology and biomechanics, allowing me to treat individuals with neuro and musculoskeletal disorders. In order to reach this goal, I have decided to major in Health Science. My future studies will be pursued at Ross Medical School located in the Barbados.
