Have held Business Leadership positions in Tower Cos in India. QUICKLY ADAPTABLE to all situations - An all rounder in field of Man management, Leadership, Leading from front, Commercial, Finance, HR (Talent acquisition and training) apart from basic job of planning and providing communications networks. Ensured smooth demerger of Bharti Infratel for UP(E) Circle and ensured that the transition went on with minimal losses and cleaning Airtel Books of Accounts. Similarly in VIOM networks as Circle Business of UP(E) ensured smooth handover of sites/switches to Tata Tele and Uninor and ensuring 99.9% uptime. Apart from Business Leadership positions in Telecom Sector I had a brief chance in Business Development in Hospitality Sector where with my consultancy got the customer a business worth 5cr in six months. Worked in Power Sector for a year where I handled PAN India Projects on Txn lines/Sub stns worth 1500cr. Had a 3 years stint overseas with Mobile operator of Ghana as their National Head Telecom Infrastructure and ensured savings of approx USD 15 Mn p.a on Energy by introducing Industry best practices. Worked closely with Electricity Company of Ghana to ensure that all cell sites and switching stns of the country were connected on prepaid & postpaid networked Energy meters, thus monitoring / reconciling the Electricity consumption of entire Telecom Infrastrucutre on realtime basis- specially for MSCs/BSCs/Media gateway and Submarine cable landing station. Lastly took over the responsibilities of Regional Operating Officer for North India (8 Telecom Circles) for ASCEND Telecom Infrastructure. Apart from doubling major business of Macro cells across the region introduced cost saving Infrastructure for 4G Small cells thus collecting a major business from Airtel. Introduced best business practices for major savings in Energy and settled old outstanding Energy bills of 4-5 years with DISCOMS in entire UP & Bihar, thus improving the bottomline. Currently enjoying what all I had missed in life.
