I served in the Indian Army for nearly 23 years until Oct 2017. I was awarded the 'Chief of Army Staff Commendation card and Medal'. The last place I served was Army Hospital Research and Referral, New Delhi, where I was Professor Anesthesia. I specialise in Pediatric Anesthesia and am currently the Director Anesthesia at Madhukar Rainbow Children's Hospital and Rosewalk by Rainbow hospital, New Delhi. I am also the Head of Clinical Services at Rosewalk by Rainbow hospital. I am the Course Director of WFSA SAFE Pediatric Anesthesia course, Delhi. I am the founder Secretary of the Delhi branch of IAPA and now a executive member in the national committee. I lead the fellowship program in pediatric anesthesia accredited by IAPA. I regularly conduct the PPLS course under the aegis of the Asian Society of Pediatric Anesthesia. We have recently started a fellowship program in obstetric anesthesia at our institution. I have been the Associate Editor of the Journal of Anaesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology for more than a decade.
