Hi there! I’m a Communications professional with 7+ years of experience, driven by a passion for storytelling that creates change. From campaign strategy to digital content, I’ve helped shape narratives that matter across the Global South. Currently, I work with the Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) as a Communications Officer. Whether it’s building digital campaigns, amplifying brand storytelling, or nurturing global partnerships, I ensure our message travels with clarity, purpose, and heart. What do literature and political science have in common? For me, everything. My academic journey at the University of Delhi gave me the tools to think critically, write meaningfully, and remain grounded in context. These are the foundations I bring to every piece of communication, especially when addressing complex issues like gender, human rights, climate resilience, or inclusive development. Before joining OCA, I wore many hats. I co-founded Aabshar, a collective rooted in Kashmiri identity. I also built the communications function from scratch for Project Eduaccess, a mentorship initiative empowering marginalised youth in South Asia. These experiences taught me how to listen closely, and tell stories that reflect lived realities. Designing comms tools for community-led change, exploring tech for social good, and creating bridges between local voices and global narratives, these are areas I’m deeply curious about. They shape not just what I do, but why I do it. My strengths? Strategic thinking. Campaign development. Digital storytelling. Editorial writing. Visual content. Stakeholder engagement. I approach every project with a balance of creativity, structure, and empathy. Outside work, you’ll likely find me tucked away with a book and a warm cup of kehwa, my idea of stillness.
