About Ralf Behringer

I enjoy working with people and attempting to influence them towards a goal. Thus, I am comfortable in a sales environment. I am also interested in dealing with and providing a service to individuals (as in a travel guide or agent, my recent RMT work, etc. but not on a long-term intimate level like a social worker. Both the service nature and the taste for sales and the competitive lift that comes with it, is supported by my interpersonal confidence. I am not afraid of meeting strangers and speaking to them about a variety of topics with confidence. The day to day functioning of a business is familiar to me and provides a level of comfort. In this context I also enjoy the structuring and organizing of clerical work that reduces stress and confusion. Even though I enjoy structure and have a high attention to detail, I also have knack for improvisation and finding a fix. While I enjoy working as an individual contributor/ agent, I have held many positions of managerial responsibility and can lead, coordinate and organize activities of others. This position of power allowed me to expedite and solve perceived problems quickly. If I am interested in a topic/challenge, then I can work at this task for long hours. Tasks that I find tedious, I will interrupt and approach in small bits to get them done. While I seek a work environment with a high degree of integrity and traditional virtues / accountability I also enjoy to work independently withing this frame work without close supervision. My work is planful, that is my work habits are organized and a certain degree of expected sequences in my work gives me a sense of security. To balance this structure in my office work, I enjoy novel situations and seek out the unusual which shows best in my zest for travel and exploration in cities, cultures and cuisines.
