About Ralf Stegmann

As the founder and CEO of Stegmann Systems, I lead a dedicated team of about 50 employees in developing advanced software solutions for biostatistical analysis, focusing on the management and evaluation of biological assays. Our flagship product, PLA 3.0, is trusted by over companies and regulatory agencies in more than 80 countries worldwide, including all of the top 100 pharmaceutical companies. In addition to our work in biostatistics, we have expanded our product portfolio to include: APS 2.x: A domain-neutral, hierarchical database software with multi-schema capability, automation, and networking features, primarily used in collection management and complex information management. Lageboard 1.0: Launching in 2025, this cloud-based solution provides decision support in complex situations and was developed in collaboration with our partner ProEinsatz (YconX GmbH). Initially created after the disaster in the Ahr Valley, Lageboard 1.0 aims to offer automated situational assessments in disaster management and related fields. I am committed to empowering our team to develop universal solutions for complex challenges and to managing our company's growth in an environment of increasingly intricate product requirements. Since 2002, we have successfully guided over 20 apprenticeships, emphasizing development and training within our organization. With a background in Computational Chemistry from the University of Marburg, I have been deeply involved in the field of biological assays since 1998, bringing a strong scientific foundation to our complex projects. Since 2017, I have been a member of the U.S. Pharmacopeia Bioassay Expert Panel.
