I have a strong belief that without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible. With that belief, I have spent over 10 years in the financial services industry looking for ways to build a strong process for myself and others, but continuously looking for ways to make small tweaks that will lead to broad changes. Unless you are open to new thought or ideas, change cannot happen.There is strong benefit in data driven analysis, but the day-to-day human interaction with customers and associates can itself give insight that no amount of data can find, and my mission is to blend those two schools of thought to help provide the best experience for our customers and the people I lead.Those beliefs have led to success for me in my current and previous roles at Fidelity. I have received multiple Excellence in Action quarterly awards, been promoted from a financial representative to supervisor, leading teams, and now working in a cross enterprise career development program. I have found a way to use my natural ability to connect with people with my strong love of data to always be curious and look for ways to challenge the status quo and look for ways to improve our business, even if it is something as simple as creating a stress free zone for associates to get away from their desk and work to decompress or as complex as helping our transformation teams change and build roles to provide better day-to-day help for our associates who are directly interacting with our customers.I believe that everyone has a passion in life, and understanding and unlocking that passion will help lead a team and will give that individual the motivation to help move our business forward.
