Ralph provides professional services to and within CASG as the key delivery agency for Australian Defence capability. He leads materiel system safety in a governance roll across a range of EW & IS acquisition and sustainment programs. In his role, Ralph works closely with stakeholders and shared duty holders. Ralph defines materiel system safety practices and instructions to ensure compliance and capability whilst furthering efficiency and effectiveness across SPO programs. Originally from Canada, Ralph acquired his engineering degree (Dipl. Ing- equiv. MEEng) in Germany. He joined Hewlett-Packard in 1987 in its RF & Communications business. He worked closely with NATO forces and industry, leading a range of client projects and programs. Ralph moved to Australia in 1997 where he joined HP working with clients across Asia-Pacific. In his role as Consulting Program Manager, Ralph led a team of consultants across seven countries in Asia-Pacific. Ralph acquired his MBA from Swinburne University of Technology in 2016. He has been working within CASG since 2018, managing delivery of materiel system safety at the program level.
