More than 35 years' experience writing; from radio copywriting to freelance feature articles and reporting, speeches and corporate video scripting to my current position as a reporter with Farmtario, a publication within Glacier Farm Media. Core competencies include extensive (self-taught) knowledge of the agri-food industry (including Western Canada), strategic planning and organizational skills, marketing, human resources and budget planning. All of these are performed under what I have termed "The QUID Principle:" Known for the Quality of the work; the Usefulness of the information; the Integrity with which the work is carried out, and the Differentiation these traits create.
