Ralph Ramnath has thirty seven (37) years experience in the Information Technology industry having started a career in the Data Processing Bureau of the RK Group of companies in 1975. He was hired into Neal and Massy Holdings Limited Computer Services Department in 1978. He led a team in the period 1981 through 1986 automating the financials, HCM and procurement for the entire Neal and Massy Group as they migrated from the ICL 1902T mainframe to the NCR 8575 mainframe on Park St and then the NCR8845 mainframe in Morvant. In the 1988 to 1994 timeframe, MIS embraced ORACLE as a flagship product and he championed the first ORACLE-Based financials application called ALCIE IV and was instrumental in marketing and implementing the solution in the Caribbean and Guyana. At this time, the Neal and Massy Group companies were migrating away from the NCR 8845 mainframe. He was charged with the responsibility to evaluate and identify ORACLE-based solutions for the Financials and Distribution requirements of the group. One of these solutions was Dynamic Solutions from System Dynamics Corporation in Ontario which was implemented in many of the group companies in the Caribbean and Guyana under his management. As the market for large-scale ERP solutions expanded, the company embraced the ORACLE E-Business Suite (also called ORACLE Financials) and was the pioneer in leading a team of accountants and technical specialists into successful implementations and consulting engagements in Trinidad, Guyana and Surinam He retired in 2013 as a Senior Manager in charge of Enterprise Resource Planning Solutions at Illuminat (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited (now Massy Technologies Infocom) which is the largest software solutions company in the Caribbean.
